What is great about these cookies is they always stay soft.
3 c flour
1 Tb baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
14 oz. can Eagle brand milk
3/4 c butter, softened
2 tsp vanilla ... or 1 1/2 tsp almond extract
Combine dry ingredients. Cream other together . . . Add to the dry ingredients. Chill. Roll out on floured surface, cut out in desired shapes, and bake at 350 for 7-9 minutes. Frost when cooled with your favorite frosting. For a smooth glaze, put some frosting on a plate and microwave it for 5-7 seconds . . . then dip cookies in it.
